I have been working on three paintings that I want to introduce you to. All three of these paintings have meaning. The first painting I will show you is the baby Jesus Christ on the night Jesus Christ was born. The evening sky was clear. Stars shone above, twinkling in the sight of those who were awake to see them. One star outshone them all. Shepherds in the nearby fields of Bethlehem were given the news of a baby having been born in one of their own lambing caves. The shepherds used these lambing caves to care for the Temple lambs used in the sacrifice. Bethlehem is approximately five miles from Jerusalem, perfect for gathering the sheep needed according to the law of Moses, which, in turn, was God’s law.
