LIKE A DOVE: A CHRISTMAS STORY
Like a dove perched on a branch gazing down, He watched this sight. Bells tinkled as camels traveled through the night. A clear, bright, beautiful sky. The dove looked up to see the light. A star shone bright in the sky, Causing day to shine at night. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” He took flight and flew through the night and on through the day, Until He settled near where He knew the baby would lay. That night He saw shepherds caring for their sheep, When an angel of the LORD came forth to speak. They cowered in fear at first sight, Then joyous elation over took their fright. Their eyes opened for them to see, Heavenly hosts praising thee. “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” He followed the shepherds as they bound down, Ever toward this sleepy little town. Quietly the
