ROCKFORD SMILES: OIL PAINTING | Laveda D. Rockford

Image
My Cup Runneth Over, an oil painting   This is the actual video that I tried to post last week. This video shows me completing this oil painting and shows you a little more about it. Please pay no attention to my hair that is hanging down the back of my head. I live in the country, and I did not notice that my long hair was not all up. It looks kind of weird because the ends of my hair are a little lighter than the hair coming from my scalp. A natural occurrence, I do not color my hair.   Why do I always feel as if I need to explain myself? Because if I do not, someone always reads into it something that I did not intend.   Please say a prayer for the people in Florida. The devastating situation that happened to the people who live in that condominium building is sad! My heart and prayers are for all those affected!   Laveda D. JUST A BUNCH OF ROSES | Laveda D. Rockford

JUST A BUNCH OF ROSES | Laveda D. Rockford Our weather in southern Missouri has been quite cold for spring, but the last couple of days have been bright and beautiful. We finally reached eighty degrees and it has me looking through the flower garden for blooms. Not many have bloomed but some wildflowers in the field and a few daylilies. And that is not as lush as I would like it to be. But the dependable roses and their first set of flowers are always so cute and delicate. Here are a few photos of the pink roses, plentiful with the promise of more… I am looking forward to summer and more blooms to surprise you with. I hope to finish my painting soon and when I do, I will post a photo of it like I always do. God bless and have a blessed weekend. Love ya, Laveda D. Rockford © 2021 Laveda D. Rockford
