THE THIRD DAY: A TIME WHEN EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

Image
There was a time when everything was perfect. A time when things were made just for us. Do you ever wonder why God made the “herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit, whose seed is in itself,” on the third day? Possibly because it required time to grow. If you have ever read about creation in the book of Genesis, you’ve noticed that the flying creatures, such as the bee, was made on the fifth day just in time to pollinate the blooms that will sustain man upon the earth. Man was not created until the sixth day. By the time man arrived, fruit was upon the tree and all creation was good. Though God created all of it in six days, I believe that a day with God is nothing like a day here. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. – II Peter 3:8 Though God does not live in our timing, He does understand how important timing is. Though we are going through a difficult time,

JOIN ME: NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Image
As we go through this season try to remember all of the mighty works of our God and rest in the knowledge that He is in control. The rest that I speak of does not mean that we do nothing, it is a call to those who already have a relationship with God and speak to Him on a continual basis. And for those who have not spoken to Him in a long time or those who have never prayed, it is times like these that everyone should be actively joined together in prayer.  Please join me in prayer for our nation on the National Day of Prayer, Sunday March 15, 2020. Please pray for our nation, for those already suffering from the Coronavirus, and pray for protection from any new mutations from such a terrible sickness. Thank you and God bless!  © 2020 Laveda D. GARDENING: FINALLY

Image
I spent the morning getting the vegetable garden ready. While I was on a break, I noticed a beautiful little flower peeking its little head up at me.  I had to get my camera and take a couple of photos of these little beauties.  Also, I found gorgeous daffodils waking up out of their winter rest.  Look at the buds about to bloom in the background. Winter is almost over and watching the flower garden wake up and admiring the vegetable garden plants as they appear above the soil is an exciting time in my world. I would imagine that a garden anywhere is exciting for most people. May the growing season be as bountiful as can be with plenty of food for you and me. God bless and happy planting!  © 2020 Laveda D. Rockford #Beautiful #Blooms #Daffodil #flowers #garden #amateurphotographer #photography #author #writer #blogger #LavedaDRockford
