LET'S FLOOD THE WORLD WITH BEAUTY

Image
It's the hottest part of summer and some flowers have finished blooming. But here are a few photos of the flowers around the farm.  Late Summer Blooms Laveda D. Rockford I spent the morning planting these Chrysanthemums. The rock pillars were the inspiration for my 'Deliverance' painting.  Do you plant flowers in your yard? If so, I would love to see a photo of them. Let's flood the world with beauty on these late days of summer.  #GodsCreation is #beautiful  #Chrysanthemum #Gladiolus #Marigold  #latesummer #flowers at the #farm in #Missouri  © 2019 Laveda D. Do I hear an Amen? #hope #motivation #purity #love #Amen #purified  Hope Motivates Purity Laveda D. Rockford http://lavedadrockford.blogspot.com

THE CASE OF THE BLACK PEARL RING: FIRST BRIEFING

Image
After Wade Hamilton retired from the FBI, Cindy Jones was promoted to lead his team. When Gina and Wade’s son,  Yahreh, was kidnapped, Cindy requested that her team get the assignment. The request was granted and the first briefing in The Case Of The Black Pearl Ring brings Cindy front and center. Read this excerpt of The Case Of The Black Pearl Ring to find out how it began. THE CASE OF THE BLACK PEARL RING: FIRST BRIEFING Screenplay by Laveda D. Rockford Osceola, Missouri USA An excerpt of THE CASE OF THE BLACK PEARL RING: *** FS OFFICE COMMAND CENTER Steve, Jim and Sam walked into the command center, which is actually Wade and Gina’s office, and settled in for the first briefing. Sam looked around the room to find the rest of the team assembling their reports and checking over the content. FS/ CAMERA BACKING TO CAMERA MOVING A door opened from the opposite side of the room. The darkness of the area behind the door looked to be a hallway. Wade

PRESSED AND SHAKEN UP: AN URGENCY TO REACH OUT

Image
I have been pressed and shaken up to write this post. My heart breaks over the sadness that I see in the world. This is not the world that I grew up in. I spent this past week going to services at a church camp meeting. I attended this same church camp when I was a little girl. I have fond memories of my Grandmother singing in her alto voice, listening to good sermons, and yes, alter calls. Not much has changed when it comes to the gathering of those who want to serve the Lord, but what has changed is the knowledge that time has moved on from that time long ago. There is an urgency to reach out to the lost soul. The recent disgusting acts of people this past weekend shows us how urgent it is. The desperate cry of a generation that knows nothing about God. Don't think that we have failed, for we are made for such a time as this and we stand. To encourage those working to spread the gospel of peace, I want to share the portion that I included in our church bulletin.
