FS OFFICE COMMAND CENTER

Steve, Jim and Sam walked into the command center, which is actually Wade and Gina’s office, and settled in for the first briefing. Sam looked around the room to find the rest of the team assembling their reports and checking over the content.

FS/ CAMERA BACKING TO CAMERA MOVING

A door opened from the opposite side of the room. The darkness of the area behind the door looked to be a hallway.
Wade walked into the room with a woman that they didn’t know. Moments later, Cindy walked in and walked up to the podium and prepared her paperwork while all other eyes were on the woman who sat down behind Cindy. The woman looked around the room.

REVERSE ANGLE

She could see the questioning looks on the faces of agents assembled in the room.

REVERSE ANGLE / ZOOM IN
CINDY:
Cindy cleared her throat as a form of bringing the briefing to order.
“Thank you for coming and I am certain all of you have your research done and can contribute to this meeting accordingly. Let’s begin with Sam.”

MS
SAM:
Sam looked up from his report at Cindy.
“I found the link that gave us access to all of their cameras inside the building. I have it scanning at all times and set to notify when subjects come into view.”

REVERSE ANGLE

CINDY:
Cindy gave him a nod.
“Good work. What about you, Steve?”

MS
STEVE:
“We have five cameras attached outside surrounding the building at each opening. No one can arrive or leave without us watching them. All procedures working well.”

REVERSE ANGLE
CINDY:
“Wonderful!”
“Wade, have you found anything else about this Renner Snide?”

FS
WADE:
“Yes. As you know, he leads a gang of criminals in the inner city. I found out that his boy was one of the Black Bloods. If you worked under me during Gina’s case, you’ll remember the gang that we sent to prison. If not, this gang is not affiliated with any certain group, however, it looks like things are changing. I took the liberty to look into Mr. Snit, the man who owns the building where Yahreh is being held, and I found out a little more of what this guy is up to. He’s been purchasing all of the buildings downtown and is quietly bringing in people from overseas. Their affiliation is not on the up and up. It could be an infiltration of M-EGA. The names match up except a few changes are made to hide the fact that they are one in the same. A last name, a middle initial, etcetera. I placed a copy of the report on your podium.”

CINDY:
“M-EGA… I remember that name. What do you know about them?”

WADE:
Wade looks down at his report and continues,

“M-EGA is a global gang unit that started out trying to pull the eastern gangs together. Multi-Evolved Gang Affiliation started with very few members or as we call them, gangs. When they started out, a few gangs were willing to join. But as the years continued, they fell short of their goal and reverted back to their old ways. Anyone who wouldn’t join was eliminated. There were a few hold outs that got in the way, and these hold outs started a gang war, and many were killed.”
Searching through his notes again he found the section he was looking for, and added,

“The M-EGA won that war and came out on top but the price was extensive. It took them a few years to gain back the losses and to increase their prospects, they enlarged their scope to the west. They started contacting western gangs and the same process started here. This is what I think is happening now. These are the M-EGA members sent out as scouts. I have the feeling that Mr. Snit is not who he claims to be.”
