VOICE-OVER, WADE:
“The court case lasted for another three weeks. It was one
year ago when the
Black Bloods were arrested. Silence surrounded the atmosphere
while we waited to hear if and when the jury came to a decision. Sparks of
discouragement came and went with each hour. She tried to
keep her spirits
up knowing the LORD had it all under control. She was
reminded many times
of this verse, “For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”
“In the
afternoon of the third day, we received notice that the jury came to a
decision. We were to meet in the courtroom.”
