THE CASE OF THE BLACK PEARL RING: GETTING INTO POSITION



The Case of the Black Pearl Ring

Yahreh was kidnapped and is being held in a building downtown. The team was briefed and is ready to help Wade get his son back. Cindy, Wade, and the team are on their way. Gina, Wade's wife, is supposed to be at the Command Center. They will soon find out how well she follows orders. Until then, here is an excerpt of the team getting into position.


Screenplay Excerpt:

FS
The team is quiet, reserved, each in their own thoughts.
Cindy from the front seat breaks the silence.
CINDY:
“Check your mics and ear pieces.”
Communication is confirmed by the time they arrive at their destination, two blocks from the target area.

FS
The team get out of the SUV type vehicle and gather their equipment.
CINDY:
“I’m certain you read through the report and you know the whereabouts of a few thugs watching the area. Don’t let them see you. If you have to, arrest them and take over their section, acting as them if need be. If that happens, you know how they talk. Use their lingo if you have to talk to their superior. They each have a phone, but no other devices. Now, let’s go.”

LS TO FS
George, dressed as a vagrant, walked to the main road and turned toward the target area. There, he started staggering his steps to look like he had been drinking.

FS
Ben and Brad, looking like vagrants, stay back around the corner.

FS TO LS REAR CAMERA BACKING BIRD’S EYE VIEW
Jim and Joy, dressed as a couple out for an enjoyable night, walked to the road that is behind the building where the park begins. They walk past the road and into the park, hand in hand, acting as if they are in love. They start walking through the park making their way toward the back entrance of the target building.

LS TO FS CAMERA FOLLOWING
Cindy and Wade got back in the vehicle and drive down the street toward the building. They entered a parking garage two buildings away from the target and parked. Dressed in black, they carried their equipment to the stairs and took the steps up to the roof.
Arriving on the roof, Wade sat the duffle bag down and started removing the equipment they needed. Cindy walked over to the edge surveying the area.

CINDY:
“All’s clear. Let’s fly.”
Cindy said and walked back to the duffle bag and helped Wade tie up to the building. Then Wade pulled out the catapult that would shoot the rope and hook over the side of the building across the street. He lifted it, aimed, and fired.

  A New Garden Feature Labor Day: a day set aside for special recognition of the workingman, or in this case, woman.   Flower Garden Season Composition | Laveda D. Rockford I am trying my best in the heat of early summer to complete my flower garden borders. I have been working on this vision for almost two years and have finally reached a point where I can show you and you can understand. The newest section will contain a small patio area with table and chairs surrounded on one side with Buxus as a screen of privacy.
