MY NEW PAINTING HAS A NAME

Looking at the photos of my new painting, the name should be easy to recognize. Although, recognizing this little beauty is difficult for most people.

While forests flourish next to the rambling water below, you can cross the road to sprawling hills of luscious green meadows. A sign unseen though apparent in the scene reaches up to the sky above this beautiful sight of The Bridge on a gravel road.

The Bridge is my first commissioned painting, and it is not finished yet. I will continue to post updates when I can.

  Flower Garden Season Composition | Laveda D. Rockford I am trying my best in the heat of early summer to complete my flower garden borders. I have been working on this vision for almost two years and have finally reached a point where I can show you and you can understand. The newest section will contain a small patio area with table and chairs surrounded on one side with Buxus as a screen of privacy. Burgundy Plum and Cherry trees, as well as Sand Cherry and a few tulips will welcome spring weather. Then Iris will rise up until they burst into their beauty. Purple, yellow, and a burgundy and white combination. Oh, what a delight. Late spring into summer, Yarrow (Achillea) rise higher and throw on their crown of flowers acting as a forerunner into summer’s beauty. Phlox, Whirling Butterflies (Gaura) purple Salvia, Shasta Daisy, Hydrangea and Clematis all vie for attention in the summer sun.
