YAHREH: GINA AND THE SILVER CHALICE

In Captive Deliverance, the FBI contacts Gina through a note. The note didn’t tell her who was watching her, but reading the note was enough. Read this excerpt of the screenplay YAHREH to find out what happens next.

YAHREH, screenplay 

* YAHREH ( yah'rea ) name, A friend of God  God's friend. - Rea ( rea ) n. Friend of mine.

FS GINA TO CU OF THE NOTE FLOATING TO THE FLOOR

Gina is sitting in her living room reading a book about Yellowstone National Park. She thumbs through a few pages when a piece of paper falls to the floor.

MS GINA

Gina leans down to pick up the note and reads it.

OVER THE SHOULDER ZOOM TO ECU OF THE NOTE
Gina, 
We found a video of you from twelve years ago. We think you may be in danger. Leave us messages in your Bible Study Book if you need to. Be careful, listen, and watch.

MCU GINA

Gina reads the note several times. Then she starts to cry. She lifts her head with tears in her eyes,

GINA:
“Thank God!”

MS GINA TO FS CAMERA BACKING

She sits the book on the table next to her and gets up holding the note. She walks over to the entertainment center and picks up a silver chalice. She walks toward the kitchen.

FS CAMERA BACKING TO FS KITCHEN

Gina places the note in the chalice and sits it down on the stove underneath the exhaust fan. She pulls out a drawer and gets a box of matches.

OVER THE SHOULDER EYE-LEVEL ANGLE DOWN

She turns on the exhaust fan, lights a match, picks up the note and holds a corner of the note over the flame. When the flame starts getting close to her hand, she lets go of it and it lands in the silver chalice.

ZOOM FORWARD TO CU OF NOTE IN THE SILVER CHALICE

The note burns until it turns into ashes.
