The Case of the Black Pearl Ring | Dessert Is Served

Wade learned from Gina how to depend on God while on assignment. Though this assignment was more difficult then most, he prayed every chance he had. 

Cindy, Wade, and the team are on their way to rescue Yahreh. Jim and Joy, two other team members, meet them in front of the door where Yahreh is being held. Yahreh is Wade and Gina’s son. Read this excerpt from my screenplay.

FS/ CAMERA BACKING OUT
Cindy and her team arrived in front of Samata’s door first. George leaned up against the door and listens for any noise.
GEORGE:
“I hear a television, but no other noise.”

George said quietly.

Jim and Joy arrived and keep watch toward the northside staircase while Sam and Bart keep watch in the opposite direction.

MS WADE
Wade reached into his pack and pulled out his levers and proceeded to work the lock on the door. Holding his breath, he worked quietly.

FS TEAM
The team stood in the corridor, adrenalin high, but held back by their professional training. Every eye is turned toward the doors scanning the area when they hear Wade exhale.  

MS/ TWO-SHOT
Wade looked up and nodded his head and Cindy smiled.

FS
Cindy looked around the team to assess whether they are aware and ready. Every eye was on her and she looked back at Wade, seeing that he was already prepared to enter the apartment. Cindy nodded her head and Wade opened the door, quietly.

FS CAMERA FOLLOWS
The doors swung open and Brad and Ben walked into the kitchen area. Entrée’s were out and it was time for dessert. Brad showed Ben where to find the tickets and how the ticket informed them of table numbers and occupants for each order.

They both picked up a small tray and a ticket, then filled their individual trays with desserts matching the tickets. When each order was completed, they both walked toward the door to enter the banquet room.

This is a little excerpt of my screenplay when the confrontation begins. Will Yahreh be rescued? Is he still alive? Will the team make if out of there together? I look forward to share more with you without giving the whole thing away.

  Thanksgiving Thought During Thanksgiving, most people gather to share stories of their year and greet each other with great esteem. While Thanksgiving is not celebrated around the world, I wanted to tell those of you who will be gathering with your families this Thanksgiving to please remember to say a prayer for those people who are having a very difficult time. Though we, as humans, sometimes think that our little part of the world is the most important, we have to realize that there are difficulties the world around.   I Live For Freedom As you know, I have been on vacation. It began on Monday morning in Missouri, and we arrived in Maryville, Tennessee that evening. The Lord graced us with beautiful sunshine every day that we were there. The first day we drove into the Great Smoky Mountains, around curves, up mountains, and into valleys all green and yellow that introduced the early autumn season. The beauty of it all gave me a piece of awe that you can only get when you know the love that was placed into such a sight as this. This is where my Cherokee ancestors lived. While there, I had the privilege of visiting the Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, North Carolina. Between June 1838 through March 1839, approximately 16,000 Cherokee were removed from their tribal lands and relocated to Oklahoma. It is said that approximately 4,000 Cherokee died. My Great-Great Grandmother was six years old when she walked this trail. Her Mother, my Great-Great-Great Grandmother, was one of those 4
