CHANGING DIRECTIONS: THE CASE OF THE BLACK PEARL RING | Laveda D. Rockford
In the previous excerpt, the team is moving as fast as they can down the stairwell, but their escape is interrupted by the sound of footsteps. Changing directions, they head toward the elevator. Here is another exciting excerpt from my screenplay, The Case of the Black Pearl Ring.

STEVE, OVER THE EARPIECE:
“Watch out!”
The elevator bell rang, and the door opened, and three
bodyguards saw them and opened fire using handguns. The team fired back,
holding the bodyguards in the elevator. Cindy and the team veered right and
held their position.
STEVE, THROUGH THE EARPIECE:
“Mr. Snit called in reinforcements.
Bodyguards walking in the back entrance. It might be easier to leave the
building from the front entrance. There’s only one guard sitting behind the desk
in the lobby.”
After hearing Steve’s message, Cindy said to the team around
her,
CINDY:
“We need this elevator.”

In the second book, Gina and Wade find
out that the world is not as small as they thought. After they open their own
private investigation company, they contact their first client. Wade travels
across the country only to find the answer that he is looking for in his own
backyard. When his old team members join the investigation, the list of
criminals gets longer, and the team acquires new technology that help them get
a positive result with an unexpected ending. (soon to be released)
Who is Yahreh? Yahreh is the child of
Wade and Gina Hamilton who met while Wade was investigating a crime. After
Yahreh is born, they decide to open their own investigation company. In the
meantime, something happens that causes them to travel the world fighting crime
while teaching classes on criminology. Follow along while Yahreh grows up and
becomes a well-educated, faithful young man. What he learns on the way, leads
him on the adventure of a lifetime.
