In the previous excerpt, Wade found his son when he and the team entered Samata’s apartment.  He was elated to know that Yahreh was still alive. Hearing sounds coming from the adjoining room was alarming. Wade took Yahreh under his protection and the team had to take care of ‘the noise’.

FS/ CAMERA FOLLOWS/ CAMERA BACKING OUT TO LS

Shaitan looked down at his phone and shook his head. He looked up at Mr Snit sitting next to Mr. Olig in the middle of a conversation while intermittingly eating dessert. He walked over as if nothing happened and leaned down to whisper in Mr. Snit’s ear. Mr. Snit listened and after Shaitan finished, he motioned for Shaitan to stay by his side.

Mr. Snit leaned over to Mr. Olig and whispered in his ear, they discussed the situation in quiet tones. Mr. Snit then leaned back and motioned for Sometimes Shaitan to lean close and whispered in his ear. Shaitan nodded and backed away a few feet and motioned to Mr. Snit’s other bodyguards to approach. At the same time, Mr. Olig motioned for his bodyguards to follow Shaitan.

Brad was walking back to the kitchen when he noticed the activity at Mr. Snit’s table.

FS

BRAD:

“Cindy, we’ve got movement.”

While Brad was walking toward the kitchen, he stopped to pick up an empty plate and witnessed Mr. Snit and Mr. Olig’s bodyguards walking toward the stairs.

CINDY, THROUGH THE EARPIECE:

“King called one of them before we captured him.”

FS

Cindy looked at King with a disgusted look and said to the team,

CINDY:

“Come on, we have to get out of here.”

 

she turned and proceeded to walk out of the room.

CINDY:

“Is the rest of this apartment clear?”

 

JOY:

“All clear.”

CINDY:

“Good. We have to move. King contacted one of the guys downstairs and we have company heading this way. Let’s clear out of here. Joy and Jim, you take the lead. Wade, you and Yahreh will be in the middle with Sam. George, Bart and I will follow. Let’s go.”

GEORGE:

“What do we do with him?”

George asked, pointing at King.

  Thanksgiving Thought During Thanksgiving, most people gather to share stories of their year and greet each other with great esteem.   I Live For Freedom As you know, I have been on vacation. It began on Monday morning in Missouri, and we arrived in Maryville, Tennessee that evening. The Lord graced us with beautiful sunshine every day that we were there. The first day we drove into the Great Smoky Mountains, around curves, up mountains, and into valleys all green and yellow that introduced the early autumn season. The beauty of it all gave me a piece of awe that you can only get when you know the love that was placed into such a sight as this. This is where my Cherokee ancestors lived. While there, I had the privilege of visiting the Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, North Carolina. Between June 1838 through March 1839, approximately 16,000 Cherokee were removed from their tribal lands and relocated to Oklahoma. It is said that approximately 4,000 Cherokee died. My Great-Great Grandmother was six years old when she walked this trail. Her Mother, my Great-Great-Great Grandmother, was one of those 4
