A SWIPE OF THE BRUSH

A prayer and a swipe of the brush with a mixture of colors can achieve things that are difficult.

While I enjoy painting, I had to work on the vase to get the base right. It's not easy to paint. However, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I hope to tell you more about the sequel to Captive Deliverance. I'm waiting to hear back from a publisher. Until then, I hope you enjoy looking at these photos of my painting.

  Flower Garden Season Composition | Laveda D. Rockford I am trying my best in the heat of early summer to complete my flower garden borders. I have been working on this vision for almost two years and have finally reached a point where I can show you and you can understand. The newest section will contain a small patio area with table and chairs surrounded on one side with Buxus as a screen of privacy. Burgundy Plum and Cherry trees, as well as Sand Cherry and a few tulips will welcome spring weather. Then Iris will rise up until they burst into their beauty. Purple, yellow, and a burgundy and white combination. Oh, what a delight. Late spring into summer, Yarrow (Achillea) rise higher and throw on their crown of flowers acting as a forerunner into summer’s beauty. Phlox, Whirling Butterflies (Gaura) purple Salvia, Shasta Daisy, Hydrangea and Clematis all vie for attention in the summer sun.
