YAHREH : SLIVERS OF LIGHT

In the previous excerpt, FBI Agents are in position to confront the Black Bloods hired to kill Gina. FBI Agent Cindy was in the middle of a scuffle with Trip.

Women usually didn’t have the upper hand in cases like this. But with all the martial arts classes and boxing she did for entertainment, Cindy was prepared. It made her feel good when she saw the shocked look on his face as they fell. While holding the knife steady and inches away from Trip's face, she pulled out her handcuffs, and that was when she realized he was not responding. She checked him for cuts and, not finding any, rolled him over on his belly and checked again. All she found was a huge knot on the side of his head, but his breathing seemed normal. He was out cold. She noticed the rock he fell on. That must have been what knocked him out.

She handcuffed him to the trunk of a fallen tree by positioning his arms around the trunk, bear-hug style. There was no way he could get loose. Large branches surrounded the trunk to the right and left of his arms. She stood up and radioed it in. "One down, out cold."
   "Copy that," answered Wade.

EXT. GINA’S NEIGHBOR'S BACKYARD

FS FBI AGENT GEORGE AND SURROUNDING AREA

FBI Agent George is hidden behind a huge Oak tree close to the edge of a deep ravine. He can hear Kinny climbing up the deep ravine from below.

FS THROUGH GEORGE'S NIGHT VISION GOGGLES

George observed the bushes jutting out from the ledge into the backyard next door. A couple of feet further back away from the ledge, more bushes and an old garage. George looks toward the neighbors backyard when Kinny appears from behind the bushes.

FS KINNY

Kinny starts walking around the bushes jutting out from the ledge next to the garage. When he reached the middle of the garage, a motion light is activated.

FBI Agent George has trouble getting his night vision goggles off. 


FS THROUGH GEORGE'S NIGHT VISION GOGGLES

George is blinded by the motion light and is having trouble getting his night vision goggles off. He struggles to remove them. Slivers of light shine periodically at the edge of the goggles while he tries to remove them.

FS GEORGE AND KINNY

Kinny rushes George.

HS OF GEORGE

FS GEORGE AND KINNY

Trying to protect himself, George grabs Kinny's wrist. But Kinny, being faster than expected, dropped his gun and grabs George's gun-hand.

CU OF THE GUN

A hand-to-hand combat for George's gun.

FS GEORGE AND KINNY

George and Kinny twisting and turn, pointing the gun this way and that.

CU OF THE GUN

Kinny gets his hand around the gun and his finger on the trigger.

MS FBI AGENT GEORGE AND KINNY

The gun is close to George. A shot rings out. George tensed up when the bullet slices through his left buttocks.

  Thanksgiving Thought During Thanksgiving, most people gather to share stories of their year and greet each other with great esteem.   I Live For Freedom As you know, I have been on vacation. It began on Monday morning in Missouri, and we arrived in Maryville, Tennessee that evening. The Lord graced us with beautiful sunshine every day that we were there. The first day we drove into the Great Smoky Mountains, around curves, up mountains, and into valleys all green and yellow that introduced the early autumn season. The beauty of it all gave me a piece of awe that you can only get when you know the love that was placed into such a sight as this. This is where my Cherokee ancestors lived. While there, I had the privilege of visiting the Museum of the Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, North Carolina. Between June 1838 through March 1839, approximately 16,000 Cherokee were removed from their tribal lands and relocated to Oklahoma. It is said that approximately 4,000 Cherokee died.
